Reflected In The Meadow
It was a faster tempo than I wanted to take it. How to make it seem more serene? I went for a 6/4 measure instead of the typical 4/4. That had the bonus of setting the rhythmic pulse off, great for connoting the irregular flickering of the fireflies' lights.

I'm quite pleased, if I may say, with the idea and the parts. The solo... meh. It needs someone who's better at supporting the quiet, gentle sounds. And maybe a light lyric tenor or an alto for the higher passages.

But there you have it. Here's me. Singing about stars and fireflies.
