A Review of Wheelock's Latin
In this episode, I present Alex Sheremet's review of Wheelock, where he  points out the strengths of Wheelock and its limitations.

In his critique of the text, he discusses the difference between what it means to learn to read Latin with fluency, as opposed to learning to decoding it. He talks about the grammar translation method, and contrasts this with a natural language approach, where, instead of translating Latin into your own language, you instead learn to think in Latin.
