Review of Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat
My life has been pretty thoroughly embedded in the artwork end of things as of late, but I had a little time to do some writing this morning as I wait for my car to get fixed (again). I wrote up a review of a book I read recently, Hal Herzog's "Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat: Why It's So Hard to Think Straight About Animals". It's a thought-provoking read on why we eat pigs but not cats, why we wear cow hide but not dog fur, and why almost all of us are hypocrites when it comes to animals.
