The Rose of Versailles ' intrigues become common
Throughout its fourth volume, The Rose of Versailles continues to have the melodrama of a soap opera, but I'm starting to get a strangely Game of Thrones-type vibe from it as well. I think that this sense comes with its shift away from court intrigue and toward the action-packed exploits of Oscar Francois de Jarjayes.
