   “Already got you covered,” answers Luke. He grabs a wet rag off the edge of the counter. Luke wipes the sweat off of Agaric’s forehead before passing him the cloth. “I mean it, Agaric. Whatever’s going on, it’s going to pass. This sort of thing always does.”

   “I’m not a werewolf.” Agaric presses the cloth against his mouth, dabbing at the corners of his busted open lips. Chanterelle mushrooms grow on the damp terry cloth in a matter of seconds. “This isn’t supposed to happen. I’m not – I’m not supposed to be doing this, Luke!”
