Skilled Worker Supply and Demand
 
Actually, not one of my better posts. In hindsight there are lots of fallacies and plain falsehoods in this post. Skilled labor is actually in surplus at this moment, but adequate means for signaling actual skill between potential employees and employers have broken down, along with the fact that nearly every employer is racing for the top and in doing so avoiding hiring the "not perfect enough" employee (while, I might add, still paying the employees who do pass the rigorous gauntlet of HR, shit wages.)
