Sninge, Serphlare, Candlisk (Many Monsters Project)

(Left) Sninge

It is found in dark caves. It uses a quick exothermic chemical reaction to set its head on fire as a defense against predators.

(Middle) Serphlare

It attacks by making flames on various parts of its body and thrashing itself at enemies.

(Right) Candlisk

Its body is covered in golden armor-like scales. It is much better at controlling its flames now. It can set enemies on fire just by looking at them.

They are based on snakes and candles. The final stage was inspired by the basilisk. The pale coloring of the first two stages comes from the lack of pigmentation in many cave animals.
