So Tired Of Christmas. (A Song). And Five Shows Of Awesome!
To my most magnificent of patrons (yes, this is you),

So, you know how, when you spend 20 years working for something, and you have some successes but for the most part, you just sorta run in place for fifteen of the twenty years, just barely getting by financially, but loving what you do so much that the thought of changing careers is sorta like being asked to consider voluntarily removing an arm and a leg?  You know what I mean?  Yeah, that's exactly how I feel.   But, now, just recently, it's starting to feel like I might be able actually do what I love (make music) AND be able to exist beyond a subsistence living.

The biggest part of that equation is you, my patrons.  You have been my most stable source of revenue as I have perambulated the brutal wilderness that is professional songwritery.  (Ooh, I think I just coined a term!  Songwritery!)  And whether you feel the awesome impact you have had on my life or not, you have had an awesome, in the true, unbelievable and knee-buckling sense of awesome, impact on my life.  And for that, there is no verbal thanks I can give, no  phonic gratitude significant enough to equal the  ferocious swelling of thankfulness I feel when I consider you and you contributions to my artistic life.

So, let me wish you the Merriest of Christmases.  The most Tidingful of Yuletides.  The Happiest of Happy Holidays.   Ha!  And with that said, he's my new song.  Ha! It's called So Tired Of Christmas.    It's definitely only for those of you who have a little Bah-Humbuggery in your souls.  So, if you're an ardent and eminently joyful celebrater of the holiday season, you might want to sit this one out.  But, if ever you've felt especially beleagured, vexed, beset, plagued, and harried by all things Christmas, then this song might be a great antidote to what ails you.  So, here it is...

My hope is to have three or four more for you by Christmas.  But, right now, that's looking increasingly unlikely.  I am live-streaming 20 hours every week.  Add another seven hours of warm-up, three hours of site maintenance,  14 hours a week or working at Thundercloud, god knows how many hours learning old songs that have been requested by my live-streaming fans, and well, finding the time to write and record is a bit difficult.  I expect to have at least two more songs for you by the end of this week.  One is already written and is in the process of being recorded.  The other I have started framing.  If I get that one done over the next couple days, I might try to squeeze another one out on Thursday.  Or, heck, maybe even Saturday.  We'll see.

Okay, but here's last week's shows for you.   I'm pretty proud of how well this little community is developing.  And how much fun these shows are.  If you haven't caught any, I highly  recommend checking one or two out.  And I think they're only getting better.  But that could just be me.  We'll see.  But, anyway, things are going gangbusters right now.  I'm feeling really good about how things are developing.  Which means, we're probably about to get hit by a comet.  Sorry about that.

So, there it is.  The shows. The song.  The fruits of my labor for this, the second full week in December, 2016.  I hope you dig it.  I hope you're aware of how instrumental you are in its happening.  Thank you so much!
