Some thoughts on United States military spending.
I was recently asked via a question on Quora "Why has the US military demanded and gotten funds to grow its firepower to such enormously superfluous strength?" which motivated me to write a lengthy essay on the subject. Many may not agree with everything I have to say, but in my opinion, it is an argument that needs much more variety of information than it is currently being given. Hope you enjoy.
