Speed Drawing: Munchkin Issue #15 Cover
Hey everyone!  I've got some exciting news.  If you follow me on Twitter, you know that this past week saw the release of my Guest Artist Edition of Star Munchkin for Steve Jackson Games.  Over the past few months, I have been sharing bits and pieces from the game.  Well, now you can purchase the whole game at your finer gaming establishments.  I was able to pick up my own copy and I am very pleased with how it came out.  My art looks fantastic. I'm also very happy to be a part of this year long celebration of 15 years of Munchkin.

Along with this milestone, I was approached by Boom Comics to not only illustrate my own 22 page issue of their comic version of Munchkin, but also write and create the cover for the issue, too.  It was a dream come true.  I've done comics before, but this will be my first comic that will be distributed by a major comics book company and will be in comic book stores across the world on March 30th.

This week's speed drawing shows the process of me creating the cover from start to finish. Here's a couple of interesting things about this video:  When I started the drawing, I was trying to match the energy of the original thumbnail sketch I did for it.  You can see me go back to that sketch to work from because it had the energy and excitement that I couldn't match by doing the sketch again.  Also, you can see me do some additional changes at the end of the video as well.  I think it turned out way better with the feedback from both Boom and Steve Jackson Games.

I'm really proud of the work I've done on these projects and I'm so happy to be able to share some of my creative process with you.  Remember to save up your pennies and pick up Star Munchkin and Issue #15 of my comic.  And of course, thank you for supporting me.  And if you're on the fence about becoming one of my Patrons, please consider becoming one today.  It means a lot to me and helps keep the lights on in my studio.

Thanks again for your support!
