State of Things May 2016
Well, I missed April, but this one seems more timely so here we are.

Chapter 2 (and Volume 1 as a whole) just wrapped last week. I had been on schedule to take no gap time between that and Chapter 3's start, but my chronic pain issues reared their ugly head big time, so I've been significantly slowed (boy am I glad I got what I did done already).

What does that mean for the timing for Chapter 3? Sadly, that I need some time to get my pain to calm down and build up my buffer. With the script, thumbnails, and character designs already done, all I need to do is jump in as soon as I have a better day. Personally, I'm excited for it. Chapter 3 will dive headfirst into the main storyline, introduce several new important characters, and show way more places in the world. We get a much better look at how magic is incorporated into the world, along with how it has shaped the kind of technology places have. Atalla Bay was a small remote town, whereas in Chapter 3 we get to see some cities. So, yeah, I think it's gonna be spiffy!

All that said, I'm setting the start date for Chapter 3 at Monday, June 6th. Remember that date (not that I won't be mentioning it quite a bit)!

For the patrons among you, I still have some character designs to share with you, along with some additional art (like thumbnails for Volume 1 that didn't make the cut, it's a surprisingly large amount). As soon as I begin building up my page buffer you will also be seeing regular previews and inked pages.  There's lots of good stuff to come!

That's about it for what's shakin' comic-wise. If you've been enjoying the comic, or just my art in general, please tell people about it. The more the merrier!

Thanks, as always, for your support. Onto recovery and a brand new arc!

Remember, Chapter 3 starts on Monday, June 6th!
