Still working with base items...
By this moment, there are 552 items in total.

Lately, I have been adding more items and mostly it's been helmets. I'm really satisfied with strength and vitality line of helmets. Turned out pretty well. Added about 10 new there. Filled all gaps I could think of. But maybe, some more will be added to coif line, to increase chain section of helmets. And maybe some more to caps. OK, looks like I'm not finished even there yet :D

Anyway, once one section is well made, others will follow pretty quick, because they will follow an established formula instead of going through a whole new creative process from scratch.

Right now, it's a living organism, process. Rather than a plan. I add things, test them. And delete if they look bad. Or leave them if they look well.

Some of the new items are being added for future needs. Some don't even have proper imagery and/or names. But in time, they all will transform into something useful.

My next plans include class items. That will delay base item routine more. But not much.

Overall, things are looking bright. There is much work to do. And even if it's slow, it's moving.

Until all base items are 100% ready, item morphing will occur with each release. Until all affixes are ready, affix morphing will occur with each release. And until character design is complete, lots of unpredictable feature losses on characters will occur with each release (after character design expansion process is started).

Right now it's mostly base items what I'm doing. This is pretty much taking all time. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Yet it does take time. I began thinking about shortening this path already, by concentrating on what is needed first, and leaving secondary things for later. Hope this sorting will save us all about a month of time...

Also, concerning uniques. I made some approximate calculations. Looks like there will be at least two times more of those than in TH1. Plus more unique on each base in a line. Which is around 3000. One image transformation takes about 10-30 minutes now. Which is faster than what it used to be. And multiply 20 by 3000, you have 6000 minutes if all uniques should have unique imagery. 100 hours of work. If I work on this 4 hours a day, it's something like 25 days. One month of hard work just on item images. Funny. And if we are real, add to this item design and other mod works,  this will expand to something like half a year to a year. So, here is my approximate estimate of when to expect full range of unique items for TH2: from 6 to 12 months after v1.0000 release.
