Special: When creating a sequin vest, up to three variants can be combined in a single item. If two or more variants call for a saving throw at the same time, a single saving throw is made against all of those effects at once. For example, a crimson/azure/gold sequin vest combines the effects of a crimson sequin vest, an azure sequin vest, and a gold sequin vest. The cost of the combined crimson/azure/gold sequin vest is equal to the cost of the most expensive variant of the three plus 150% the cost of the other two variants. In our example, as an azure sequin vest costs XXXX gp, a crimson sequin vest costs XXXX gp, and a gold sequin vest costs XXXX gp, the combined vest costs XXXXX gp.

As almost all humanoids apparently have magpies as a common ancestor, a sparkly vest, blouse, dress, or other such clothing goes a long way toward keeping an audience’s attention and furthering one’s career.
Azure sequin vests sparkle and shine like the depths of the ocean laid bare by an explorer’s lantern. Whenever the wearer takes 5 or more points of damage while conducting, it gains fast healing 1 for 1 round. This healing does not end bleed effects, but it stacks with other forms of fast healing.
Crimson sequin vests glitter with what is quite literally crystallized excitement. While conducting, the wearer gains a +5-foot enhancement bonus to its base land speed.
Emerald sequin vests look positively verdant and somehow enhance the performer’s stamina slightly. Once per day when maintaining a conducted score or a bardic performance, the wearer may tap into the power of the sequin vest and continue the performance without expending a round of its daily duration.
Gold sequin vests are an absolute classic whose color is associated with wealth and prestige; however, sequins are also associated with entertainers. As a result, the wearer of a gold sequin vest is considered to be properly dressed by all walks of life, from commoners to the wealthiest of aristocrats. This is a mundane effect. In addition to the mundane effects of a gold sequin vest, the wearer gains a +1 circumstance bonus to Diplomacy and Bluff skill checks.
Pallid sequin vests are sparkly, this is true, but they also look downright gangrenous. Once per day, whenever the wearer begins to conduct a score, it may choose a single creature affected by that score’s intro. The subject takes 1d8 points of damage with no saving throws allowed.
Special: Pallid sequin vests can be empowered upon creation such that they are usable up to four times per day. Simply multiply the variant’s cost by the number of uses desired per day. For example, as the market price of a one-use-per-day pallid sequin vest is 300 gp, the market price of a three-use-per-day pallid sequin vest is 3 * 300 gp, or 900 gp.
Prismatic sequin vests are bedazzling and confounding creations built to delight no matter what the occasion. Creatures that strike the wearer in melee are dazzled for 1 round with a DC 12 Fortitude save to negate. If the wearer is conducting, there is no saving throw.
Scintillating sequin vests are of very similar construction to their prismatic brothers, but where prismatic sequins scatter light everywhere, scintillating ones build specific images. The armor worn by a creature wearing a scintillating sequin vest gains the glamering armor special ability.
Showman’s sequin vests are sometimes used to make backup dancers and the line. Once per day, whenever the wearer begins to conduct a score, it may create a single illusory copy of itself as the mirror image spell. This illusory copy persists for the duration of the performance, or until destroyed by taking a hit for the wearer.
Sunset sequin vests radiate the intense orange that’s only seen when the sun hits the horizon just right. For those wearing it, night comes just a bit slower. The first time the wearer would be reduced below 0 hit points each day, it gains 1d6 temporary hit points immediately before taking damage. These temporary hit points last until the beginning of the wearer’s next turn.
Vital sequin vests are so bright and shiny that hitting one with the spotlight produces the equivalent of vomited double rainbows. Once per day, whenever the wearer begins to conduct a score, it may choose a single creature affected by that score’s intro. The subject gains fast healing 1d8 for 1 round.
