I'm stuck in a full-on love affair with this show, and I don't care who knows it. I mean seriously, did anyone even know that Netflix was releasing this? It showed up on my Facebook page as a million people collectively began to freak the fuck out over how awesome it was, and it still feels like this was just a side project that Netflix wasn't that invested in, because there wasn't even a trailer released as far as I know. Well, they had a sleeper on their hands and I really hope that they do a season 2.
In this episode, Maggie and I talk about the implications of becoming "cool" while your friends are left behind, the creepiness of Jonathan hiding in the bushes with his camera, the sad backstory of Chief Hopper, and the possibilities of what could possibly have happened to Barbara. Also, what the hell was coming out of the damn wall, and does it make sense that Joyce would turn around and go back inside? I am so excited to get to the next episode, which is scheduled for Monday, by the way.
We'll see you then, and I hope you enjoy the show!
