In the future I'm thinking of proposing a limit of 45 minutes per episode of Let's Mod Morrowind, focusing on a smaller amount of content, and dividing up the construction of a modded area over the course of several videos, sort of like how Let's Players release their videos. That'll allow for quicker video production and less time lost to video processing and uploading. But I'm not sure, that will limit the usefulness of these videos as tutorials, so let me know what you guys think on that front.
With that said, I do think that the 7-videos a week, video-a-day format, based off of the Stress Test week results, is perhaps a little too overly optimistic. Each video on the channel does take a fair bit of preparation and editing to do, so it may be more realistic to aim for a 5-video a week format in the long run, with a couple of days set aside for pure video preparation so we can get content out consistently. So that's what I'm thinking we'll be aiming for in the future, eventually.
Anyway, onto this week's video schedule. Aside from Episode 46 of Morrowind Modding Showcases which aired not too long ago, we're looking at three more videos this week.
Thursday - Oblivion House Mod Hunters Episode 4
The fourth episode of Oblivion House Mod Hunters, looking at another three Oblivion house mods in a variety of unique and interesting locations.
Friday - Channel News Update
Just a quick channel update video regarding potential Let's Mod Morrowind format changes, the results of Stress Test Week, and also a sneak peak at one of the new pilots for new series coming at the end of March.
Saturday - Episode 47 of Morrowind Modding Showcases
The 47th episode of Morrowind Modding Showcases with another 13 mods to check out, and this episode will actually mark the 600th mod that we've showcased on the channel so far!
Sunday - Morrowind Crafting Special Episode of Morrowind Modding Showcases
Now, this is a planned episode, it may not get out in time, but this is going to be a special episode looking at Morrowind Crafting, a modding project that aims to add extensive crafting capabilities to Morrowind, and this is actually an older mod project, dating back to nearly 2004, and it's still being worked on. In this episode we'll look at the current 2.1 version, as well as the new 3.0 alpha and the new features that will ultimately be added to the project.
Anyway, that's what we're aiming for over the next few days in terms of a video schedule. Next week I'm going to be focusing more on getting work done for future Morrowind and Oblivion Modding Interviews videos, since we're a little behind on interviews, and I'll also be working on a few other major video projects, and hopefully one of those will be ready in the next 7~10 days.
In any event, I want to thank you all again so much for your support, and hopefully we'll be able to continue with a fairly productive video schedule!
