Studio Update (September 2016)
It's been a while since I've done a for public real studio update, huh?
I've just gotten back from 24 days in some desert or another, either in Califirnia or Nevada, and from a week in Texas. The weather was worse in Texas. The Last Apothecary got built, and I've unloaded and loaded a truck more times in the last month than I care to ever think of ever again(until the next time I have to). If you would like to see pictures from the Last Apothecary, I'd recommend our Tumblr.

Leslie and I opened our FOURTH Dubious Beasts show at Archimedes Gallery, and it went incredibly well. Most of our pieces have sold, although there are a few still available on their website. I wasn't able to make it out to the show, but Leslie says that the opening was delightful and I feel so loved and honored that people that collect our work actually go and see our shows! We are so lucky.

The next few months will be devoted to me frantically finishing my Route 66 graphic novel(120 pages in a couple months? Yeah, sure, I can do that.), although I will be at DesignerCon in November and also roadtripping to Nebraska in October for an artist residency at a national monument. I'm not sure if I'll have much in the way of original sculpture at DesignerCon, but I'll probably have a stash of original art and a bunch of comics and other merch stuff.

There are a lot of amazing things in the pipeline, that I cannot wait to tell you about. Experimental things, strange things, things I'm not entirely sure I know how to do yet, but I'll be finding out realll soon.

Life is a bit bonkers right now, but I'll take it. Thank you for sticking with me.
