Summertime (Hockey Stick / Harmonica Cover)
Greetings friends!

Here's another tune I recorded while out at Spear Lake a few weeks back. It's a Cover of the Blues/Jazz Standard "Summertime" (And the Living is Easy).  This one wasn't one I had planned to record, and the cover isn't perfect by any means, but it was a beautiful day, and turned out pretty good!

Doing some quick research on this song, I discovered that it is considered the most covered song in recorded music history. Everyone and their dog has covered this tune. (No, seriously! ) Wikipedia tells me that there are over 33,000 covers by groups and solo performers. Well, add the Woozle Effect to that list... right after that Jack Russell Terrier from 2009...

In any case, I play a variety of versions of this song in my live shows, and this is the one that came out in the sunshine next to Spear Lake. I hope you enjoy it!

Cheers, and endless thanks to you, my patrons!
