Swamp Girls and Dream Sequences
This. Song.

It's been haunting me for about a year. It is so snakegoddamn strange and I love it. It was done by only 2 people in the late 50s and apparently UNTOUCHED for the last 60 years.  Kay Martin and Her Bodyguards  (the weirder version) and Frankie Laine (more orchestral.) It's chords do not exist on the internet so we had to do some serious ear sleuthing.

This is a teaser of the end of the song. There are fast bits that sound sort of flamenco-ish in the middle.

Swamp Flamenco? I'd totes listen to that.

Thanks again to Reverend Bill Howard for workshopping this with me! The complete version will be up eventully- maybe even a version with a banjo!
