Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
(Thank you Mary Oliver)

So I am here standing on this boulder gazing at the far horizon and wondering what the future holds...

This is also the image I have chosen to send as a first thank you card to my patrons. It seems appropriate in so many ways and is much loved by those who like my work already.

The last day and a half of twiddling about with this page, finally girding up my loins to launch it and then the inevitable 'oh, why didn't I put that as a reward? Or say this thing? So changes may well appear soon I feel.

in the middle of all this I had a video call from the head of a foundation working in the Moroccan Sahara with the nomad communities whose culture and stories I find so inspiring and who are under such pressure from desertification and climate change affecting what is an already demanding  environment to live in.

I had suggested a way I may be able to support their work there and they are keen for this to happen but a wider collaboration with my talent for illustrating stories a key skill seems to also be in the offing, sometimes you connect with the right people at the right time. I will keep you posted.
