Terminal Phase prototype (teaser for $500/mo milestone)

Hello all!  So in my last post I mentioned that if we hit $500/month I'll release a terminal-based space shooter game.  I've released a playable prototype of that which you can see in action (being played in cool-retro-term) in the animated GIF above.

Seems like a lot to implement given that we don't know if we'll hit the goal, right?  (Though we're getting quite close!)  Well, I needed a test program anyway to be confident in Spritely Goblins' usability for non-distributed programming before I start nailing down all the distributed programming aspects.  This program served that purpose, and in building it I uncovered a lot of usability and performance improvements (Goblins is over 10x faster than it was before and much nicer to program in).  I'm now quite confident in the pleasantness and solidness of this layer of Goblins, so I know I am building the next layer on top of a good foundation.  The remaining work on this game is thus for entertainment value.  But entertainment is important, too!

I'll release a blogpost soon talking about the prototype and how it was designed at a high level.  In the meanwhile, the prototype is quite close to a usable game, so once we cross that threshold I'll be very happy to polish this up and release it as a gift for you all.
