While I'm here, I might as well give a brief update. Progress has been quite slow on Villain Survival Guide this month, as both of us have been under the weather for a while now and I've been busy with commissions. I've also had a bit of a burnout experience as of late, so I took this past week of staying home sick to start doing Pixel Dailies on Twitter. It was a nice break and I wound up finding out that a lot of people really like my Crabby character! It even helped me make some awesome new connections and grow a little on here.
Now that I've had a week or so off, I will probably start working again on some VSG assets, along with finishing up the palette I am making for you guys. Also, I want to remind you guys to send in your entries for the fan art contest that will be ending on the 28th of this month. I realize it won't be a large number of entries, so hopefully it won't be too awkward...
On that note, I am going to be giving some thought to any adjustments my rewards might need in order to both attract more patrons and help me manage my end. I want to make sure I'm not promising more than I can handle while still working towards my goals. For instance, the fan art contest may wind up not being every month, but rather once every few months. And it may take longer to deliver on in-game content than I had originally estimated.
Please let me know your thoughts on any of this and help me make this a sustainably awesome place. I am looking forward to your entries if you are taking part in the contest, and I would love to hear your feedback!
Thanks again so much!
