They're back! Give a thumbs up or star rating to Inside Croydon reports and comments

After a hiatus of a few months (why is it that whenever you undertake some kind of "upgrade",  what you get afterwards is slightly less good?), we now have a full singing and dancing website as far as reader interaction is concerned.

You can once again give a star rating to the reports that you read on the site, which is a reasonable gauge of qualify control when we publish our news stories.

And you can also now give a thumbs up or down to the comments on each report.

We know from regular commenters that they are constantly fascinated by the thought of people weighing in with a thumbs down on their carefully crafted responses to our stories.

Just as the editorial team is sometimes perplexed by the responders to our occasional, completely unscientific online polls - like the 3.7% of readers who answered "Yes" to one recent poll asking whether Jo Negrini, Croydon Council's erstwhile CEO, should receive any kind of pay off (as Inside Croydon revealed exclusively, Negrini walked off with £440,000).

Equally, who are the 4% of responders who said that Tony Newman, the discredited ex-leader of the council, should not  have the Labour whip withdrawn at the Town Hall will be a matter of constrant mystery to us...

We live in interesting times, and here at Inside Croydon Towers, we are working hard to keep you up to date with the latest shenanigans at the Town Hall, Fairfield Halls and further afield. In fact, anything that's relevant inside Croydon.

We can only do that with your help and on-going support. Do please try to engage other readers to join you as patrons.

And now we have our widgets back, do please give star ratings, thumbs up or down, take part in our online polls, post comments or just drop us an email from time to time with story tips or ideas. Most of our best news stories have come from our loyal readers such as yourself - we are only as good as our sources.

And remember: we always want contributions to the site - whether written news stories or features, interviews, photographs or art work.

Thanks for your help. And please keep in touch.
