This Week on GS (2/27 - 3/3)
Hello everyone!

We were so happy to see some really good discussion being generated in the comments section of Friday's analysis video. We hope you enjoyed it!  As soon as I know when the second half of that analysis is going up, I'll be sure to post about it here.

Here's what's coming up this week on the channel:

  • Today's video is A Wild Game Appears! - Hollow Knight.  It's now live on the main channel. It's a challenging metroidvania with (mostly) solid gameplay and absolutely gorgeous visuals.
  • Wednesday will probably see the release of N64 Games We've Never Played where we delve into some more comments of the week! We take on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Mace: The Dark Age, and a bowling game that definitely did not play well with our emulator.
  • Joe has been using the PlayStation 4's record feature to record a Let's Play of Strider (2014, PC), which is yet another metroidvania.  Since the PS4 records in 15 minute chunks, we've divvied up the playthrough into 30 and 45 minute episodes while we provide post-commentary. If the analysis conclusion video doesn't make it live this week, we just might see Strider Part 1 on Friday.

Another highly-anticipated title, Torment: Tides of Numanera, releases tomorrow.  I don't know if we'll be covering it on the channel, but I am absolutely going to check it out in my limited spare time this week.

Thank you for continuing to support Game Soup!

Sincerely,

Ed (& Joe in spirit)
