Time perception (or chronoceptive) disorder, linked to other psychiatric disorders such as ADHD or dyslexia, is the difficulty to gauge time properly.
It is often a problem with autistic people and can make it very hard for us to do mundane tasks, like planning a trip, waiting for an appointment or even cooking. For that reason, some of us use tools to keep track of everything, like smartphone apps, multiple alarm clocks, or even support workers.
