Part of this piece comes as a direct result of a conversation I had with a friend about her roleplaying main; she's a tragic character, but she's also a villain, and the sort of person you dearly want to see get her just desserts. So it's an interesting contrast, and that got me thinking about the split between tragedy and just plain drama. Enjoy!
