Travel Surprises
Late yesterday one of my sons drove to Gettysburg--several hours from here--to see his girlfriend, working with park conservation out there.  An hour ago he called with car trouble, and he has since reported receiving two reliable opinions that it is his fuel pump, which no one can repair until tomorrow, so I am about to drive to Gettysburg to fetch him.  His girlfriend will bring the car home next weekend, and I guess he then will drive her back.  So I'm rushing to get out the door.

I have in the rush uploaded Old Verses New; Chapter 118, Hastings 81, in which Lauren has a surprise meeting on her own journey; I'll leave it at that.
