I remember my first day there. We had an... a... an orien, tation? I'm not sure if that's how to spell it, I could google but I don't wanna. Anyway, it was my first ever orientation. I wasn't excited about it. I didn't even know what to expect from it. But it was fun. I, well... I mean, it was the first day. Of Course they're gonna try to make it as fun as possible.
So, on the first day. I arrived really early. I didn't know how to drive yet at the time. So, my dad dropped me off. The area of the college was smaller than I imagined it to be. The college was actually part of like a... hmm, really hard to describe. (^^"). Know how in a shopping centre you got shops and stuff? Well, in my college, instead of shops, we have classrooms. Still very foggy on the details here but let's just use it.
Trying to recall exactly what happened on the first day... uhh. OH RIGHT! they posted up these papers on the bulletin... wall. Yes wall. They taped the papers on the wall. There was a list of the classrooms and names of the people assigned to the class. (I don't remember which class I got because I was transferred to a higher level the next week. (Yay lucky me) getting a C in Computer saved me there. ahahaha. (O>O))
There were... if i'm not mistaken, 16 people in the classroom. (4 of them also got transferred to a higher level). We had the Orientation in the class. umm... it was basically a type of summary about what we're going to study. I didn't really care about any of it becasue i'm only going to college to waste time. (Where I'm at, college can be free but only for the first two years. Then the next two years, you gotta pay)(And yes, CAN be free. not is. it's not free. Conditions include having good grades.)
Overall from start to finish, I never had a stressful time in my studies. The teachers there really like, REALLY KNOW how to teach and they are so so so so so so so so nice to us. They would even go out of their way just to give us an extra class FOR FREE! I can't express how grateful I am. The teachers I had are one of the main reasons why I didn't have a stressful time in my studies. (I got 4 A's, 2 B's and 2 C's like I wrote, I was only there to waste time. Sorry, not sorry. I even told my teachers there that I was only there to waste time. Honesty is the best policy but some things are better left unsaid. I wish i wasn't so honest at times. Anyway, I told them this when we had our introductions not at the end.)
The hard part really, was fitting in. In highschool, I had a group of friends from start to end, enter college and i'm alone. None of my highschool friends were there for me. And because i've had such great friends over the course of 5 years, I never really knew how to make new friends. I stutter when I try to talk to them. But they are really nice people and I wish I got to know them sooner. One of the teachers even said that we were the nicest class he's ever taught because we kept quiet during lectures and help each other out with assignments even when we were supposed to do it on our own. (XD) (ILOVEYOUGUYSSOMUCH SC3-D/A)
I remember my first day in the class with them. I came in late, like a week late. they already started learning and I was the odd one out. Thankfully I caught on like really fast. (^^").
What I like about the teachers there, is that they're slow, but, they keep a steady pace. Not like when I was in highschool.
In highschool, if you were slow, they(teachers) don't care. we were a waste of their time. they push the smart students and don't even look back at us. Seriously, the smart students were given an extra class like an actual extra class with actual extra pure information of knowledge about the subject. I hated that school. Seriously speaking, I only passed the subjects that had the teachers I respect (I only passed 4 subjects and got a C on 2). Strayed off topic there. YIKES. i'll try not to let it happen again.
