Recently I have released a plugin called "Disabled Choice Conditions", which allows you to disable individual choices within a set of choices using some condition that you specify.
I also have another plugin called Large Choices which allows you to combine multiple choices together as one, big list of choices.
So now some people might be wondering, do they work together?
The answer is, yes, they do. Here's how.
In order to combine choices, you basically create multiple "Show Choice" commands next to each other, and they'll all be combined together.
In order to disable a choice, you must specify two pieces of information
- A choice number
- A condition
My numbering system
The numbering system I use is the basic "counting" method, where you take your first item and label it number 1, then you take your second item, and you label it number 2, and so on.
So basically, when you look at your choices, you'll basically count them as
Makes sense so far, right?
Extending our numbering system
Now, what happens when you combine choices together using Large Choices? I go with what seems most intuitive: just keep counting up. If you start with 6 choices and then add another 6, these are the next 6 numbers:
Also seems pretty intuitive, given what we had before?
Putting it all together
What I've shown above is exactly the numbers you would use when you're disabling these extended choices that are combined together.
Here is an illustration of how it looks:
Hope that helps! Also, don't forget to check out the plugins:
