Tutorial - sewing sticky material
Its tutorial time!
This is how I sewed my very sticky (and quite thick) latex panels together for Tsumugi.
I previously used baby powder for top stitching sticky/stretchy material like pleather.
This option is for thicker, heavier materials and for sewing seams!
What you need:
1. Paper towels or really shit toilet paper.
The shutter the better because they'll be easier to remove when you're finished.
- Have the foot pressure lighter than usual, especially if material is thick.
- Increase tension a little bit. This way the stitches will hold together better when we rip the paper off.
All questions welcome!
