Just wanted to post an update because I haven't been here as often as I'd like to. I'm currently fiddling about trying to switch from digital art to traditional art, primarily because I might actually switch my major back to art (painting) when I go back to college in the Fall but also because I want to get good enough at it to be able to show my work in galleries and sell it. With this comes the fact that work will take longer to produce and a lot more research and thought will have to go into it. These are not actually the "rules" of Fine Art, but the rules I put for myself to make stronger work, that will spark conversation and not be drowned out in the sea of artists. After certain events that happened this year, I have decided that I want my work to be shown in galleries where it will be best understood. Also, I have decided I don't want my work to be just one theme, just superficial - but I want it to have dualities and be deeper than what is readable by someone outside the art world. With this, I also have to add, I will likely be leaving Patreon when this month ends, at least until I have a better vision of what I want to do.
Thank you for being with me in this two-month journey. I still have the request and two commissions I have to finish, and I will be doing that in between working on my research for the continuation of my fairy tale series (which will now be deeper, again). <33
