Seaweed washes to the shore

melting castles of sand 

that stand no more;

this beach 

has become bland 

to our tantalizing tastes 

for desire and pleasure.

Naked bodies run 

up and down 

skid row looking for 

their fix, 

an escape

from the masked 


Terrorizing us in our most 

vulnerable state of affairs;
