Using Native Plants In Your Garden Makes You Kinda Awesome

Whaaat? 3 episodes? Yep, and you get them all a week early.

Trying  to create a more sustainable garden? Want to attract a lot of  beneficial insects? Then you need native plants!

Although  we gardeners often pick plants based on their beauty (or the yummy  fruit and vegetables they produce), the insects and animals that live in  our yards and gardens have slightly different priorities. They need  food, shelter, and a place to raise their young, and in may cases the  plants that meet these needs best? Are native plants!

So if you want to create a thriving, healthy garden ecosystem (and you can learn more about those in Episode 2), native plants are a must.
