VENOM Files: Professor Mortis
It seems a good time to remind the world that I have a Patreon going to support my Freedom Squadron project, so I am going to use this VENOM File as a public post to show of the kinds of stuff folks can expect to see if they get involved.

Professor Mortis

File Name – Carl Von Braun

Primary Military Specialty – VENOM Scientist 

Birth Place – Frankfurt, Germany

The background of Carl Von Braun is considered by many to be a joke, or at least the background of the wrong man. This is because it shows that he was born on September 16th, 1901, but the man known as Carl Von Braun looks no older than someone in his forties. The truth is they are same person. Carl was always fascinated by sciences of all kind, and spent his young life bouncing among different schools throughout Europe. On March 14th, 1939, he joined the Nazi party and lead up their division of occult research, which he was obsessed with. History lost track of the man around the end of the war and he was believed dead, but Carl had discovered the means to prolong his life, and kept performing his unnatural experiments in secret. Carl has gone by many names over the years, and recently he ended up taking the name “Professor Mortis”. When he was captured by VENOM, who believed he was someone else, Carl offered his services to them. Their twisted commander gladly accepted such secrets, and has since allowed Professor Mortis unlimited resources and total freedom in his work.

“Many scoff at a belief in ze arcane, ze supernatural; but I vill convince you before long zat it is very, very real. Unfortunately, I fear that you may not be around long enough to thank me.”

Special Abilities:

· Immortal: Mortis constantly extends his life through many different (and horrifying) techniques. He has Slow Regeneration, and cannot die by any normal means. He also suffers no –2 penalty on any untrained skills.

· Multitasking: Mortis ignores the first –2 penalties when maintaining powers while using a new power.

· Power User: Mortis does +2 damage with the blast power.

· Practiced User: Mortis automatically gains the raise effect for a simple success when casting armor and deflection.
