Hello! I have been soooo busy and have much to report!
Each day this week, I'll will be sharing - just here on Patreon - the short story WADDLEBOTTOM VS. THE HECKLORD!
This is very much a work-in-progress so you'll likely see some differences between the final collected PDF and the pages you see here. The final version of the story is going to be available as a PDF to supporters of my first Kickstarter campaign and to every supporter here on Patreon.
This is at least the fifth time I started this story and I've been putting soooo many hours into it - which I've been told is very "on brand" for me. :) You may recall a previous first page which I shared here (https://www.patreon.com/posts/waddlebottom-in-37429469). In that version and at that time, the story was going to feature a simpler sepia-tone coloring. But NO! A Waddlebottom story demands to be told in full color! His majestic plumage must be seen in all its chromatic glory!
I hope you like how it's come together and I'll be sharing the B&W linework version and process pieces after the story is fully posted - no spoilers!
As you may know, a less-jumbo version of The Middle Age webcomic is posted to a few sites including Webtoons where it recently surpassed 10,000 subscribers! I put together a video "How to get more readers on WEBTOON" with tips and tricks I pieced together along the way. If you're a web cartoonist, I hope you find the tips helpful! Please check it out and subscribe if you're so inclined! PLUS you get to see how awkward I am on camera and much I need to organize my shelves. :)
I'll see you tomorrow with more WADDLEBOTTOM VS. THE HECKLORD!
Once this web-footed story is done, we'll return to our red-herring-filled main storyline.
I hope you're safe and well! <3
