Want us to draw you as a pika and put you in Issue #1?
We will totally do this!

Take a long look at the drawing above. Is this not the most ridiculously adorable and bizarrely funny thing you've seen all day? I can't stop giggling over how silly this is, and how much fun it was to draw. And also how bizarrely much it looks like David. It's not even freaking possible for a pika to look like a human. But there you go. This is the magic of art.

Okay, so here's the deal. Patch and I are frantically racing around trying to get ready to print Pika's Peak in time for Small Press Expo, where we will be releasing the comic into the wild, and meeting a whole lot of other really cool artists and seeing their comics. And hopefully we'll get to rub elbows with some publishers, too. But in order to do this right, we need to actually print the comic. And we need magnets and postcards to hand out, and some posters to sell, and a big Pika's Peak banner for up behind the table. Thanks to your support, we can get started on some of this, but there's so much more to do! And we really need your help to do this right.

Here's where you come in. We've got a special $75 reward tier - if you sign up for this reward for just one month, and send us a photo of you, we will draw a caricature of you as a pika and publish your name with your pika portrait in Issue #1! Only 12 people can claim this reward, but the deadline is just days away, on August 24th! You only have to be in the $75 tier for one month to qualify - after that it's completely okay to drop down to a much lower level tier, or even cancel completely if Patreon isn't your thing and you just want to offer one-time support. But we really, really need your help.

If $75 is too much for you, no worries! We have lots of other cool new tiers - $10, $20, and $50 tiers also get you hardcopies of Pika's Peak, along with a variety of cool stuff: a magnet, postcards, and gorgeous 11" x 17" posters, depending on the tier. Check out the sidebar to the right for more details.

And don't forget our $1, $2, and $5 tiers! It is 100% absolutely okay to edit your membership down to a more affordable tier after you've paid for one month at the higher tier and qualified for the fancy reward. It is super easy to edit your membership, so do what whatever works for you. And whatever that is, Patch and I will be eternally grateful.

Onward to the print edition of Chapter One! Meanwhile, if any of this is confusing or you have any questions, ask them in the comments below!
