Weight of Thought

When you take pictures every day, there are times when the image itself is a kind of desperation. When my mind buzzes brightly, and the world is blue and grey, and no change can settle or spark me from the sense of time rushing past. These are moments that most tempt me to skip ahead, to be an emotional narcoleptic, and just sleep right through the feeling. I don't want to see myself, so I go out searching a mirror; I don't want to think too heavy, so I sit in the silence and tease the weight of thought. I'm getting to know just what I've got.
