For those who don't know me, I am a ceremonial magician, author, artist, and photographer. Oh, yeah - I was also once on deathrow for a crime I didn't commit, but that's a whole 'nother story in itself.
Magick has always been the driving force behind my life. I've loved it ever since I discovered that such a thing existed as a child. That's one of the things I hope to share with people here - what magick is, how it works, etc. I'm not here to convert or convince anyone of anything - I just want to share the techniques that allowed me to survive and maintain my sanity for nearly 20 years on death row.
You'll find other things here, too - like photos of New York City that document my love affair with the spirit behind this juggernaut of skyscrapers and tunnels. Somehow through the ages mankind became more convinced that rural areas are somehow more "sacred" or "holy" than urban enviroments. In actuality, nothing could be farther from the truth. Either everything is made up of divine substance, or nothing is. We can communicate with the spirits and intelligences of the city just as easily as those of forests, deserts, or mountains, and it's equally rewarding. The ancient Romans and Greeks were well aware of this, and acknowledged that not only does every city have a god - but so does every single home within that city. And the more we acknowledge and interact with them, the more the acknowledge and interact with us.
I sincerely hope that if these sorts of things interest you, you'll stop and palaver for awhile.
