ABOUT THE KINGS OF NOWHERE (Book #2)
Avery Lou has given up stealing houses — now he’s meant to build them. Forced to stay with the De Lainey family until Sam’s return from juvie, Avery feels like he’s drowning. He hates that Sam chose the De Laineys instead of running away with him. And he hates working in their construction company while Vin, the thief who hurt Sam, still walks free. Avery wants revenge. Swapping the sharp-edged world of burglary and car theft for the homey chaos of big family life is a wild adjustment, and Avery’s determined to sabotage his time with the De Laineys and get locked up with Sam instead. Avery just has to stay immune to Jeremy’s charming shenanigans. Easy…sort of. But Avery’s war against Vin has brought trouble to the De Lainey door and he can’t survive this fight alone.

ABOUT THE HOUSE FOR LOST THINGS (Book #3)
Stealing houses should be a thing of the past now that Sam and Avery Lou finally have their perfect home. But the De Laineys are being forced to sell the butter-yellow house and their family is crumbling. Sam is haunted by his time at juvie and he feels lost now that Avery doesn’t depend solely on him. All he can do is focus on his builder apprenticeship and hurl himself into an extravagant sewing project lead by Moxie to raise money to save the house—only Sam’s past has come knocking and it’s about to tear apart everything he loves. Learning how to build new houses is one thing, but maybe broken boys can’t be rebuilt.

QUICK NOTE ABOUT WHY
Nothing like a bit of backstory behind the story, so let me explain why I chose to publish these sequels on Patreon!
The tl;dr version is: my previous UK publisher didn't want to take on the sequels. Trust me when I say I tried over the last 5 years to make it happen. It will never make sense to me, considering The Boy Who Steals Houses did really well. 💔 But this is publishing. There's a lot of luck involved.
I decided to go with Patreon to give myself an accessible, safe, and lowkey publishing option. It's nice to connect closely with readers and it made the process fun while I also work on other books for traditional publishing (my next YA is coming from Feiwel & Friends USA in 2024!) Right now I'm on deadline so I'll be finishing up writing THFLT as you're reading the start, which is kind of exciting. I might have a small audience here compared to the reach of TBWSH, but I freaking adore you all. Your comments, your support, your input, your excitement.
Will I self-publish them as physical/paperback copies? I'm honestly not sure. There are some complicated things in the way, unfortunately, but I remain hopeful.
However!! I will be giving out ebooks of The Kings Of Nowhere and The House For Lost Things to ALL SUBSCRIBERS who remain signed up throughout the duration of THFLT's release!! This should be over June, July, and August, but I may speed up or slow down posting chapters a *little* bit depending on my other deadlines. Otherwise, you can expect 2-3 chapters every Thursday.
You are always welcome to interact with this Patreon and my books however suits you. So if you want to read weekly or wait till the whole book is out, that's fine! If you want to sign up for just 1 month to read and then leave, also fine. Your support keeps me being able to write and I also will keep sending you fun perks (like fanart mail outs!) so stay tuned for more. As a disabled author, writing is one of the few ways I can support myself, so basically, I'm super grateful to all my readers. Whether you're here for a little while or a long while...THANK YOU.
Feel free to ask any questions in the comments at any time.
THANK YOU FOR READING.
Let's goooooo. 🌻
