This one's easy. Each week when I post, you'll get a notification from Patreon, which will include the photo. I've traveled to a number of places around the world and I'm extremely fond of taking pictures of architecture, artifacts, and other things relevant to worldbilding, so consider this the visual dimension to complement the text.
I'll produce the ebook in both MOBI (Kindle) and EPUB (all other readers) format, and provide instructions on how to load it onto your reader.
Patrons who back at this level can email me one suggestion for an upcoming topic each calendar month. (Put "Patreon Topic Suggestion" in the header so I can find the relevant emails easily.) I'm limiting it to one per month simply because with four essays a month, I probably won't be able to use all the suggestions immediately. But I'll keep them all on file for future reference, so once you've sent in a request, you don't need to send it again; you can suggest something different the following month.
The bonus essay will talk about where the idea for a certain worldbuilding detail came from, my thought process behind my decisions, etc. If you have a specific thing you'd like to ask about on that front (e.g. "where did the idea for dragon-spirited people in Keonga come from?"), you can email me.
To keep things focused, your question should fit into 250 words or less. (If that winds up seeming too cramped, I'll raise the limit.) You can describe a concept to me and ask whether it makes sense, or inquire about a particular topic you're trying to focus on, or anything else worldbuilding-related that might be of use to you. One question per month that you back at this level. Send it as an email with the header "Patreon World Builder Question."
The critique will be focused on worldbuilding-related aspects of the story in question. Up to 5000 words per month that you back at this level; if you have something longer, you can send it in installments if you wish, though bear in mind that when it comes to the worldbuilding perspective, sending an entire novel in 5000-word chunks is probably not the best approach unless each chunk introduces some new location or cultural concept. Send it as an email with the header "Patreon Story Builder Critique."
