What are Your Goals for 2017
A lot of people cringe at the thought of New Years resolutions. Today I was talking to my students about goal setting for the year and how a lot of people make mistakes when doing New Years Resolutions. 

Many people make huge goals for the New Year and that is amazing and I love making goals but the problem is there are not a lot of people that achieve them. It breaks my heart that after a month people give up on what they want to achieve. 

So, my thoughts on goal setting are these: goals are great you need a goal. Simple as that. Next, making a goal is just the first step you need to figure out how to get to your goal. This is going to be a road map to your success. Knowing where you are going is one thing but knowing how to get there is the second step. Third, YOU HAVE TO HAVE ACTIONS! If you want to loose weight you have to have actions that you are going to do each day. For example, you are only going to consume so many calories each day and you are going to exercise a certain amount. Diet and excersice are the actions for the goal. Without these  you will never loose any weight and you are one of the thousands of people that have made that goal but did not achieve it.
