I didn't do a WIWO update for March as I was on vacation for most of it. I went with my wife to visit her friends and family in Brazil. It was wonderful as always, but now it's time to get back to work.
Following on from my last update, I finished the resin figure that is now on sale via Etsy. I managed to get a good amount of casts done before my resin finished. I won't be able to make more until I get a few sales.
So I currently have two resin kits for sale on Etsy, the Ninja figure and now the Bloated Mutant. Both are great fun to paint and look great when displayed. I'm sure they would look great in any stature collection.
If you'd like to buy one, either painted or unpainted, please check out my Etsy page. Remember higher tier Patrons get discounts on my sale items.

I'm just about finished painting one, which I still need to photograph. Once that's done I'll give a proper promotional push to see if I can get some sales. It's not easy to get sales, not at the moment and I understand why. I'm not a famous sculptor, I've only been going for 3 years and a lot of what I do is still practise. The other problem is I'm not sculpting existing well known characters. This is because of copyright and the fact I LOVE designing my own. I suppose if I'm to ever make a living form this, I need to start sculpting things people will recognise. I need a lucky break, which leads me onto my next point.
The rest of April, I'm currently working on a sci fi character, to practise hard surface modelling. I really like armour and industrial looking characters. I also like old and battered machinery. This isn't something I've tried to sculpt really, so I decided to try it. It's coming on nicely, and should be done by the end of this week. The second half of April, I will be starting a new project, one that I'm incredibly excited and extremely nervous about. If done well, it could potentially give me a massive exposure boost, due to the client being actually quite famous. I can't say much more, but it is my first real attempt at a likeness.... Watch this space.
Thanks to my THREE Patrons. I love you equally, 33.33% each!
