What I'm currently working on.
A TTRPG where the player gets to roll more!

See, it happens a lot that during combat you just hear any damage you took, subtract and keep on playing on your iPhone and such.

Well in this game, not only do you have to roll your defense against the opponent's static Attack Rating (tentative name), but you also have to roll your damage reduction!

When you cast a spell, you roll your Spell Effect Roll (tentative name) to beat your opponent's Reflex, Will or Fortitude defense.

And of course you roll any damage you would deal.

Creatures that have any damage reduction is static as well.

This frees up a lot of GM number crunching time, that could be replaced with describing the action more.
