But a horrific abyss of loneliness and despair;
A lack of everything good in life,
Or all of the good, always void of satisfaction.
It is a cringe-worthy mess that when witnessed,
An emotion is roused only experienced during an ASPCA commercial.
But oh, what love is it to be filled overflowing in His presence.
A giddy middle-schooler kind of first love,
Butterflies in your stomach and skips abounding randomly.
Fear and lies are as unicorns, completely non-existent.
Truth floods the head leaving no room for anything else.
Veil torn, we get to live in this wonderful place.
A place where singing, laughing, and dancing is a way of communication.
Rolling on the floor hysterically laughing is a norm.
In his presence wholeness is easy, no need for performance.
His pruning comes like a gentle push stroke.
What is life without the presence of God,
But a place I don’t want to be?
