We regret dealing with a personal matter prevented us from sharing our support for the#WomensMarch, but in the end, perhaps it is for the best, because now is a good time to point out that the fight didn't end Saturday with the march. No protest, no matter how big or how unified, can truly be enough on its own to fight the evils of the world. It is the actions we all take from today and every day afterward that truly matter.

Saturday was the first battlefield, but only the first of many, and we can't forget that the fight isn't over and there is much work yet to be done. And we also can't forget this isn't a matter of politics. This isn't even about the President. The real fight is a matter of choosing to be human or not, to stay selfish, shortsighted, ego-driven children or to finally accept that there's something more important than ourselves to stand up and fight for. And it's a battle we must fight every single day regardless of who runs our country or who voted for who. The things at stake right now are far bigger than red vs blue and we can't let pride or tradition or old fashioned stubbornness divide us into ineffectual squabbling fools who can't see the real enemy past our own sense of of smug moral superiority.

The world will always have evil in it. There will never be a shortage of loathsome human avatars of greed and hate. You can strike a blow to send them scurrying back to their holes, but one victory is not enough to vanquish them forever. The fight continues, but it's up to you how many rounds you stay in it. So the real question is: was this just an exhibition fight or are you gonna go the distance?

"Don't worry, little sister...there are MORE!"
