I'm 27 yo guy with three big passions: drawing, video games and men.
Gladly I get to enjoy all of these as an illustrator, comic artist and game designer.

WHY patreon ?                             

Patreon is great because when artists know exactly how much they're getting paid monthly - instead of floating on the inconsistent waves of comissions - we get to plan ahead, feel safe and have better working conditions. Being baffled by the fear of running out of comissioners and not being able to pay bills can take it's toll on any artist's productivity.

Even so, why Patreon gets to be so important to me ?

All jokes aside. Living in Brazil means you are jerk poor unless you are a celebrity, a politician or own a huge farm. Everything is over-priced. ( From 2 to 5 times what you'd pay in NA ) making it impossible to get decent work equipment.

For example; Suppose you'll buy this Video Card that costs $200.
Importation taxes and store interest will raise the price somewhere between $600 or more. Convert that to Brazillian Reals and you're paying at least R$1.800. almost twice the minimun wage here in Brazil.

If that's not enough, there's little-to-no space or opportunities for artists to grow in this country, specially for those who wish to create games, something barely recognized by Brazil's government. 

So when YOU become a Patron, you're not just getting to see loads of art, you're investing in my future! Your money will be buying me the essentials: food, rent and medication (if needed).
It will be buying me better equipment and allowing me to make even more and better art,
and eventually give me conditions to move out of a country that only hampers my growth.
