Comic streaming!
If we hit $750 per month, I'll host a weekly stream of whatever page I happen to be working on. I'll try to avoid spoilers where possible, but wherever they're unavoidable, I'll work on some key art instead. Maybe I'll even take some viewer requests!

PoL in multiple languages!
Right now, plans for PoL in other languages are in the works, but plans are slow to progess due to my limited budget. If we hit the $1500 mark, I'll be able to hire translators and fast-track PoL to be available in other languages, including but not limited to: Spanish, French, and German!

I'm a freelance illustrator that has worked in both social media and independent comics, and have been authoring my own works since I was 12 years old. "The Pride of Life" is the first of my comics to be released on the internet, and has given me the opportunity to meet many interesting characters! I hope to be able to enjoy this project with its readers for as long as possible.

Hi, folks!
My name is Rhandi Fisher. I currently work as a freelance illustrator in social media, and am the creator of "The Pride of Life", a weekly webcomic about a boy who is transformed after eating a legendary fruit, and the consequences it entails.
The comic has been available on the internet since about 2004, and has surprised me with the variety of its readership, some of which having followed it since their early teens! While it's had its ups and downs due to various circumstances in my life, I wish to keep it going. I remember the joys I felt (and still feel) as a child and teenager of becoming invested in characters and their stories in cartoons and comics, and I think it's the greatest gift I can give. I just want to share the joy that I feel in creating narratives.
While PoL was originally a labor of love, I've decided to refocus my professional goals and try my hand at doing comics full-time. Pledges via Patreon will allow you to help me continue drawing the comic while guaranteeing content creation. The money from Patreon will go toward my living costs.
