About Prissy and Pop's Helping Hooves

Prissy and Pop's Helping Hooves is 501c3 non-profit farm located in North Florida and is the home to cows, horses, mini-horses, donkeys, goats, and of course pigs.  Our mission is to provide a forever home to farm animals while educating the public on a vegan lifestyle.

My love for pigs began when I visited a pig farm as a student at The University of Alabama.  I promised myself that one day when the time was right I would own a pig.  This dream came true when I adopted Prissy in the summer of 2013.  She was everything I had dreamed of and more.  The following spring I decided to adopt a companion for her and Pop joined our family.  During this time I started following other pigs online and realized how many pigs were re-homed for so many different reasons. I became more aware of how poorly farm animals were treated and made the personal choice to go vegan for the animals.  I added rescuing a farm pig as one of my future goals.  I also fell in love with a cow on a cattle farm next-door to my parent's house.  She would always come over to the fence to see Prissy and Pop when they were outside grazing.  Pop was so into her.  It touched my heart to see their bond.  I wanted to save her and promised her that if I ever got a farm I would rescue her.  By this time, Prissy and Pop had become popular online with people from all over the world following their adventures.  I knew that I wanted to use their platform for something that would make a difference.  I dreamed of starting a rescue in their name and providing a forever loving home to some of the many neglected farm animals out there.  In January of 2016, I was one step closer to my dream.  I purchased a house on a farm with a big backyard for Prissy and Pop to graze and play.  Then I immediately started rescuing animals.  And you probably guessed who was first?  I rescued a pair of farm pigs (Petunia and Periwinkle) and the cow (Pumpkin) who I had promised to save. In the past three years, we have continued to rescue and add animals to our family.  This summer we became an official 501c3 non-profit.  I am so proud of Prissy and Pop and what they have been able to advocate thus far.  But we are at a point where we can't do anymore without your support.  Can you help Prissy and Pop lend a hoof to these sweet animals?  Your donations will go towards food, vet care, hay, and future housing and fencing projects.  (We are currently saving to fence in an empty lot to give the cows, mini-horses and goats a bigger grazing area.)  Thank you for your support!
