About Pumora
Dear embroidery enthusiast,
if you are new to Pumora, let me quickly introduce myself. I'm Anne Mende, a freelance embroidery designer and teacher since 2010. Living in rural Germany, it was always hard to find courses or even teachers for embroidery and other textile crafts I was interested in. So the thought of an online workspace grew and Pumora became just that: a place to share my experience and thoughts about hand embroidery.
In 2017, I launched the Lexicon of Embroidery Stitches. It is a free online resource for over 200 embroidery stitches and how to stitch them.
Since then Pumora has evolved further and so will the Lexicon of Embroidery Stitches. Until now, the Lexicon constisted of step-by-step photo tutorials for each stitch. In 2020, I want to move it even further and do video tutorials of every embroidery stitch I can find.
As you can imagine this is a lot of videos to make considering that there are currently 208 stitches in the lexicon (and I found even more in the last 2 years).
This is a project for the long run and I will publish one new stitch video every Sunday over the next years starting January 5th in 2020.
Once you sign up at any tier you have access to an exclusive stitch sampler template that you can use to stitch along with me every Sunday when a new video goes live.
In becoming part of the Pumora community on Patreon you give me the support to make the video Stitch Lexicon happen.
Thank you for being here and supporting my work,
Anne
