What is it?
Q2Q Comics is a webcomic about theatre and those under appreciated folks on the tech side that make it happen.
Who am I?
I am Steve, and I am a sound designer for an ensemble theatre company and for a small liberal arts college. I also happen to be a maker of comics. I've been writing and drawing Q2Q Comics since March of 2014 and it has become my full time job.
Why support it?
Unfortunately, making webcomics is an unstable business. I currently earn most of my income from ad sales and merchandise sales which are inconsistent at best. I still have to take outside jobs to continue paying the bills. I'll always continue to do theatre work, but it would be great to no longer feel like I have to take the jobs to make ends meet.. The more outside work I have to take, the less I can focus on the comic more exclusively.
What do you get out of it?
Any comics that I finish early go up on for my patrons first. Access to the early comics, previews, and other bonus content is available to all my patrons at any amount. If you choose to donate at a higher level, you can get personalized comics, prints, and even custom drawings.
UPDATE:
Because of the generous support of Patrons like you, anyone supporting the comic at any amount will have access to a monthly video hangout with Steve!
