Living, working, learning, & dying on the unceded Coast Salish lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. As an artist & settler/colonizer, it is important to recognize & acknowledge the past, present, & future of this land & its caretakers, to whom I am an unwelcome & uninvited guest. Land acknowledgments are part of this process, not the whole of it & certainly not the end.

My name is Q & I'm a white queercrip disability justice activist, poet, & performing artist. Through posts on various social media platforms, I talk a lot about ableism, accessibility, queer- & whorephobia, & the intersections of these topics & problems.

This patreon is a place for me to compile shorter-form educational posts; write longer-form pieces & provide more in-depth analyses & discussions; & post behind-the-scenes performance development.

What you'll find:
  • short posts from other platforms (FREE - every Friday)
  • notes, audio, videos, & stills from performance development ($ - first & third Saturday of every month)
  • long-form essays, analyses, & workshop notes/slides ($$ - third Sunday of every month)

Money from this patreon will go towards helping me survive under capitalism. I have a number of conditions that require medications & treatments that are not covered by so-called "Canada"'s health care. I also have rent to pay & food to buy in a city with a very high cost of living even without additional barriers.

You can also visit my site here & my Ko-fi here. I facilitate workshops & presentations about various aspects of disability justice; conduct accessibility audits for venues & events; & offer consultation & sensitivity services, all on sliding fee scales. Contact me through my site to get me into your workplace, school, or community!
Ko-fi is for those of you who don't want to or can't make a monthly donation; you can make a one-time or as-you-can donation there or through my PayPal here. If you make a direct Ko-fi or PayPal donation, please feel free to email me here with your donation details & I'll send you the appropriate Patreon posts for that month & previous content, from the $1 personal "thank you" to the $10+ brailled poetry.

Please don't feel weird if you want to follow for my free posts without ever making a donation! Your wallet is your business; if you don't want to or can't donate, you are still absolutely welcome to enjoy the free content here. You are as valued & valuable regardless.

Thank you for supporting my work!
